Through Liberty Counseling Now Approved as an IDCMP in New Hampshire

A Hopeful Road to Get Your License Back after a DUI or DWI

A New IDCMP in Bedford, NH

Through Liberty Counseling is proud to announce that we are now an approved Impaired Driver Care Management Program (IDCMP) in New Hampshire. Based in Bedford, our program supports individuals navigating the process after a DUI or DWI conviction by offering screenings, LADC evaluations, education, and aftercare services. While no one expects to need these services, we are committed to making this process more than just a requirement—it’s an opportunity for growth and real change.

What is an IDCMP?

An IDCMP is a state-approved program that coordinates all the steps required after a conviction for impaired driving. This includes screenings, LADC evaluations (substance use disorder evaluations), education through the Impaired Driver Education Program (IDEP), and connecting participants with counseling or aftercare if needed. Our Bedford-based IDCMP is designed to guide clients through each step with clarity, accountability, and compassion.

First DUI/DWI Class: October 13th – October 22nd

We are excited to announce that our first IDEP class will take place on weekday evenings, running Monday through Wednesday, October 13th through Wednesday, October 22nd. This six-session course fulfills the state’s required 20 hours of DUI education in a manageable evening format. Clients will gain education on the effects of alcohol and other substances, learn decision-making skills, and explore strategies for long-term change—all in a respectful, supportive group environment.

Our Class Facilitation will be done by Christi Donovan, LADC. She has been running IDEP classes for many years at Amethyst Foundation Inc and we are pleased to have her join our team in this role.

What is an IDSP?

Alongside the IDEP, many clients are required to work with an Impaired Driver Service Provider (IDSP). In layman's terms, this would be the counseling portion. An IDSP is an approved, often licensed, counselor approved by the state to provide treatment as part of the IDCMP service plan. At Through Liberty Counseling, our IDSP team includes:

  • Nick Pigeon, LICSW, MLADC, ADS

  • Jason Snook, LICSW, MLADC, ADS

  • Kenzy Miller, MSW

  • Randy Stevens, BSW, CRSW, ADS

  • Mark Boegel, LCMHC

  • Christi Donovan, LADC

This experienced team is here to ensure every client receives the guidance and counseling they need to move forward successfully.
